Grapeseed Oil

I’m just reminding everyone that I'm describing base oils in these blogs because they fit a major theme of my mystery series: aromatherapy. Since I include recipes for aromatherapy products in my books, but given the fact that I’m writing fiction, I can include some of this nonfiction information here in my blog. Today's base oil is Grapeseed. Cleanser & toner, especially for oily skin. Its wholesale price, at least for now, is fairly inexpensive, so it makes a popular commercial massage oil base.

My Issy Castillo mystery series has several sub-themes. Besides the aromatherapy angle, I explore several criminal themes. In Book 1 a subtheme is human trafficking. Book 2 (A Whiff of Murder) explores smuggling that goes the other way; i.e., from the US to Mexico and beyond. Books 3 & 4 handle other terrible smuggling rackets. Can’t tell you about them yet because it would spoil the surprise.
